2021 Grimme SL Series 80-16

The machine offers comfortable operation and high storage capacities of potatoes, onions, carrots or other bulk materials such as grain. Thanks to the electro-hydraulic drive and infinitely variable belt speeds with variable swivelling speed, the crop is treated extremely gently.

Clear and intuitive operation via the control box GBX 820 in combination with the operator terminal VC 50.

Features may include:

• The 80 cm wide conveyor belt impresses with its very high transport capacity, which is further enhanced by the special GRIMME profile of flights and its trough shape.

• The store loader is connected to the crop conveyors via a coupling to enable a loss-free transfer during the swivelling motion. The large rubberised filling funnel ensures a gentle crop feeding. As an option, a stainless steel grain funnel can be fitted to achieve an additional seal towards the conveyor belt.

• The gooseneck at the upper end of the conveyor ensures a minimum discharge/transfer height.

• The slip-free, pulling belt drive (fitted at the upper end of the conveyor belt) ensures optimum operational safety under all conditions.

• The long wheel projection of the telescopic boom allows to fill the storehouse without moving the store loader many times.

• The strong, closed design of the frame allows all rotating parts, such as rollers, to be protected for long service life.

• The hydraulic, maintenance-free wheel drive permits an infinite adjustment of the swivelling speed without disruptive rocking motions. The independently driven main wheels provide the machine with a high degree of flexibility so that it can be manoeuvred even in the narrowest spaces. The main wheels can be swivelled hydraulically for a fast moving and change in position inside the store.

• Large tyres enable an easy handling of the store loader, even in case of uneven floors in the hall floor.
