2021 Grimme RH Series 16-40

The compact Receiving hopper RH 16 with its hopper volume of 4 m³ to 9 m³ impresses with a high performance combined with minimum damage to the crop. The soft, wear-resistant polyurethane (PU) spiral rollers achieve lowest impact on the crop and an effective separating performance. The maintenance-free direct drives of the PU spiral rollers, with their infinitely variable speed adjustment, enable a perfect adaptation to all operating conditions and requirements. This drive concept provides the basis for the centrifugal cleaning system, called Turbo Clean, whereby adhering soil is loosened from the PU spiral rollers at maximum speed. For direct storage in boxes, the receiving hopper RH 16-60 and the GRIMME box filler GBF match perfectly.

The soft rubber of the hopper floor protects the harvested crop.

Rollers are driven directly and without any loss in power. In addition, the independent control of the roller groups also has a share in achieving ideal results for all crop sizes.

• The height of the rubber intake flap can be adjusted easily and without tools, so that a simple, perfect adaptation to different transport vehicles is possible.

• The hopper floor made of rubber, with its specially arranged 15 mm high flights ensures as well a safe and gentle transport of the crop as a reliable emptying of residues.

• A sensor which monitors the filling level of the receiving hopper regulates the optimum hopper floor speed at all times. In this way the entire storage line is used to its capacity without manual readjustment.
