Adaptation (reduction) of the seeding distance (resp. planting distance) in the seed rows (resp. ridges) beside the spraying tracksClever Planting is used to realise a closer planting/seeding distance in the ridges/rows next to the spraying track "Section control" is the software module within the CCI control terminal. In conjunction with this software module, the function of "Clever Planting" can be integrated into the automatic, GPS-supported switch-off in the spraying tracks. Clever Planting is available for cup-planters GL 420, GL 420 Exacta, GL 430, GL 660 and GL 860 Compacta, further more for belt planters GB 430 and the precision seeders MATRIX 1200 and 1800.
Features may include:
- Adaptation (reduction) of the seeding distance (resp. planting distance) in the seed rows (resp. ridges) beside the spraying tracks
- uniform growth of the crop, with an improved use of resources like water, light and nutrients
- optimised seed spacing / plant spacing between the tractor wheels within the spraying tracks
- improved uniformity of the harvested crop (less oversized)
